Taylor Swift, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian 's good friend Fergie appears to think that the ongoing feud withKanye West and Taylor Swift is all for publicity.

The celebrity fight blew up last Sunday when Kim posted clips of Kanye's conversation with Taylor about the song Famous, appearing to confirm that Taylor did sign off on the song. Although she's since hit back saying that at no point did the rapper say that he would refer to her as 'that b****' and called it “character assassination”.

The M.I.L.F.$ star, who got Kim to star in her latest music video, appeared on Jackie and Kyle show, where she praised the reality star for standing up for her man.

“You've gotta respect her for sticking up for her husband,” she told the Australian hosts.

“Knowing them, it's probably a big master plan. They'llbably all come together at the MTV Awards or something.”

Meanwhile if Taylor really does want to pursue criminal charges against Kanye andKim over THAT telephone conversation, there might be some bad news.Fergie's music video for her new single starring Kim Kardashian

According to reports the 1989 singer is considering pushing for the couple to be prosecuted for recording a telephone conversation between Swift and the rapper without her knowledge, but TMZ claims, as there were other people in the room and on the phonecall, including producer Rick Rubin, she wouldn't be able to.

The website reports that under Californian law, taping a "confidential communication" without the other party knowing is a crime, but it doesn't include conversations that "may be overheard".Kanye West in the studio on the callKanye West's phone

TMZ claims to have listened to the full tapes of the conversation and there's 'no doubt' Taylor was aware she wasn't the only one on the call, as Rubin and members of the crew speak during the conversation.

If this was the case, the website claims Kanye didn't violate the law by recording the exchange and so can't be prosecuted.

Select moments from the hour-long conversation were released by Kim on SnapChat on Sunday night and show her husband speaking to Taylor on speaker phone while sat in the studio next to Rubin.

A rep for Taylor has been approached by Mirror Celeb.
